Using Windows Speech Recognition:

 

  1. Set up Windows Speech Recognition:

    • Open the Control Panel.

    • Click on "Ease of Access".

    • Select "Speech Recognition".

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your microphone and learn how to use the speech recognition system.

  2. Activate Windows Speech Recognition:

    • Say "Start Listening" or click on the microphone icon to begin.

  3. Speak into PDF Form Fields:

    • Open your PDF in your preferred viewer/editor.

    • Click on the form field you want to fill.

    • Speak the information you want to be entered into the field.

    • The system will convert your speech into text and enter it into the field.

For Mac:

 

Using Dictation:

 

  1. Enable Dictation:

    • Go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > Keyboard.

    • Click on the "Dictation" tab.

    • Turn Dictation on.

  2. Choose the Microphone (if not set):

    • If the "Internal Microphone" isn’t already selected, click the pop-up menu and choose it.

  3. Speak into PDF Form Fields:

    • Open your PDF in your preferred viewer/editor like Preview or Adobe Reader.

    • Click on the form field you want to fill.

    • Press the “Fn” (Function) key twice or the key you've set for dictation.

    • Speak the information you want to be entered into the field.

    • Press “Fn” once more to stop dictation. The system will convert your speech into text and enter it into the field.
