LIFE is real.
It's raw. It's Unpredictable.

We bring Comfort to Life Planning and to Loved Ones left behind

Hello there, I am David, the heart and soul behind the Comfort Action Plan (CAP). When I first embarked on this journey, it was a deeply personal one. My beloved father, Clyde, passed away in October 2010. This devastating loss was magnified by our struggle to find vital documents like life insurance information, his will, power of attorney, and other crucial estate planning records.

This overwhelming reality was a wake-up call. It launched my mission to create a comprehensive Life Planning tool accessible and beneficial for everyone, regardless of their situation or their familiarity with such processes. This vision is now realized in our CAP Plan.

But I knew from personal experience that merely having the information wasn't enough. The ability to navigate that information, especially during a time of grief, is just as critical. Therefore, I created the Life Plan Guide. It's more than just a companion to the CAP Plan, it's a lifeline for those grappling with loss, providing support when they feel overwhelmed and barely capable of moving forward.

And in the course of this journey, I realized another profound truth: Relationships are at the heart of life planning. When we lose a loved one, our relationship with them doesn't end. It evolves into a beautiful internal dialogue of memories. To honor this sentiment, I introduced the “My Life Journal.” It serves as a testament to our loved ones, a space where healing comes from the comfort of recalling their words, their wisdom, and their love. If you find it difficult to articulate your feelings, our Endless Comfort Cards are there to lend a hand, helping you form the words that you may struggle to express.

In the years that followed my father's passing, I faced the heartbreaking loss of my grandparents and became a home caregiver for my brave mother who's fighting cancer and recovering from a stroke. It's through these real-life experiences that I learned the true value of preparation. The Comfort Action Plan eased my burdens, helping me manage the business of caring, and I wholeheartedly believe it can do the same for you.

Life is real. It's raw. It's unpredictable. We need practical, efficient tools to navigate its complexities, and I've dedicated myself to creating those tools. My ambition is for you to never undergo the pain I've experienced. Through the Comfort Action Plan, I aspire to make your life better, easier, and less stressful during challenging times. I'm here for you, every step of the way.
